Denim Shirt to Tote Bag

OK!! This is still a few days since i buy my sewing machine. I'm still excited to try sewing something (but I'm not dared to make a dress yet). So, i looking for something that i can use to make something and i found my husband denim shirt. I buy this for him from flea market but it too big for him, so i will make it to tote bag for him.

 

I cut every part of this stitching so it like the left picture.Sew it on the button line like the right Pict

Give layer using other fabric and  like picture below. We will using the sleeve part to make bag handle.

This is it the denim shirt tote bag. I make it quiet big so he can put his work equipment here.

Finally... New Sewing Machine...Yay!!

After such a long wait and wondering and stick the picture on my office computer..finally i can buy a mini sewing machine. it still like a toy sewing machine, but it doesn't. it really can use like the ordinary sewing machine.
I falling in love with sewing and really want to learn since i start my online shop. Before i moved to Jogjakarta, i was going to register in a sewing course. But i cancel it because i resigned from my previous job and get new job in Jogjakarta.
almost a year i move here but I'm not found a sewing courses as my wish yet. So i want to learn sew by my self. there a so many website that can teach me this..so i buy mini sewing machine first. I'm really glad when the sewing machine came and can't wait to  try this.
My first trying is make simple clutch. this is it ^_^

my traditional wedding

April 6 2013... i have married..
just wow, because it still like a dream for me. the party wedding was held in a traditional way..
my husband and i wear a very very heavy traditional cloth. there are so many accessorize that i have to wear. my hair is full of flower and bun..woow it's so heavy
but after all, I'm glad because my wedding can be held in traditional way..
i hope, it can be everlasting..
